We will have a time of prayer for Sunday's service in the Church Parlor.  Open to all for praying.  Length will depend on how many show up.

Our church library is in the front right sanctuary room behind the baptistry.  Please feel welcome to stop and visit.  Books are set up with cards to sign out similar to a public library.  Jamie, Sharon and Connie as 'librarians' have started a library inventory spread sheet.  A hard copy of the book list is available in a 3-ring binder on the small table in the library.  There is also an on-line link to the spreadsheet available thru this website - go to the About tab, then Church Resources for a description and Link to the spreadsheet for searching for a book or author  or recently acquired books.

• If you like mysteries – we have a 4 book Memphis Cold Case series by Patricia Bradley. The Justice Buried and Justice Betrayed are both page turners with plot twists and unsolved murders that deliver a mix of intrigue and suspense.
• We have had 4 books in the Lions of Judah series by Gilbert Morris where Morris combines extensive research with skillful plotting to create believable scenarios and great stories that bring these Bible characters to life. The first of the series is Heart of a Lion that tells of Noah, humanities common ancestor fighting the spiritual battle of the ages. The other 3 books in the series that we’ve had are: No Woman So Fair with Sarah as she and Abraham battle with doubts and temptation (#2), The Gates of Heaven follows the dramatic story of Jacob (#3) and Till Shiloh Comes about Joseph's life and then Jacob’s announcement of who will be the one to carry on the family birthright (#4). 

     Most recently we’ve added book #6 – Daughter of Deliverance about Rahab the prostitute who believes and trusts in the God of the Israelites and does what she can to save her family. 

    The 2 stories of Sarah and Rahab go along so well with our current Ladies Bible Study as we have been studying “Ten Women  of the Bible” by Max Lucado and how we can learn and understand their lives and ours.

• Another recent addition is The Amish Greenhouse Mysteries with 3 Amish Romances in one book by Wanda Brunstetter. A terrible accident leaves three women as the sole providers for the family they have left in The Crow’s Call, The Mockingbird’s Song and The Robin’s Greeting.
• Jen Parks has recently made several childrens books available to the library that will be catalogued soon and  will be made  available to you.

SPRING devotionals “Pathways” and “Our Daily Bread” are available on the table in the narthex.  

***The monthly birthday basket is sponsored by the Discipleship Team. Everyone with a birthday in that month is asked to stand so that we can sing to you.  After the morning worship service remember to pick up a small gift (lollipop, pencil, etc.) in the Narthex. 

***The “Milestone Card Showers” are sponsored by the Fellowship Team and we celebrate the following birthdays: 50 – 60 – 70 – 75 – 80 – 85 – 90 – 95 – 100. And we also celebrate 25^th and 50^th wedding anniversaries. Please let the church secretary know if you have one of these milestones coming up to be sure it is celebrated!

***Our “Welcome Center” is taken care of by Autumn Heinz.  She is available before every Sunday service to take your prayer requests and announcements for the morning service. The Welcome Center is under the direction of the Worship Team. To place your prayer requests in the weekly bulletin – please call the church office.
