Church Library

Our First Church of God has a Faith Based library of over 1200 books.  Books are categorized into Bible Helps, Christian Living, Family Living, Church of God, Men, Women, Devotionals, Non-Fiction, Fiction (with subcategories of Mystery, Love Inspired and Love Will Find you), Amish Fiction, Children, Christmas and Discipleship.  We also have a selection of Faith Based/Family movies.

The link below is to a spread sheet of our inventory.   The spreadsheet is sorted first by the Library (in front right of sanctuary) OR Classroom #8 (for the Discipleship group and teaching materials).  The next columns are the Main Library Wall and the back wall / Wall 2.  The Main Wall has our Fiction categories, Christian Living, Childrens and Christmas selection listed next by author and then titles.  The back wall is sorted first by the LEFT Shelving group with Bible Helps, Family Living, Church of God, Movies and then the RIGHT Shelving Group includes Men, Devotionals, Women and Non-Fiction.  

The spreadsheet also includes columns of Acquired Dates (so you can see newer additons), a rating system from other readers if the enjoyed the book (2) or LOVED the book (3) and their initials.  If you find another reader whose tastes are similar to yours you can search for suggestions with that information.  Please leave a note if you want to rate a book yourself.  The last column includes who may have donated the book(s).  You may notice in the 'Rating' column the word MISSING.  This spread sheet was started a few years ago and we have not been able to identify where these few are as they have no sign out card.

This same spreadsheet has been printed and available in the green 3-ring binder on the library table.  The printed version had to have columns condensed and of course is not searchable by anything other than our columns printable order.

All books can be checked out using the library cards included within and left in the container on the small table with your name and date.
