This year's Carpenter Project is July 14th - 18th.  This is a community-wide volunteer program, providing home upgrades and reapirs to those in need in our community.    This an excellent opportunity for those needing volunteer hours, or those looking for an outreach/mission program close to home!   Please see Donna Jones for volunteer forms.   The Monday evening (July 14th) dinner will be hosted by our church and in our fellowship hall.   Donna is looking for volunteers to donate 2 dozen cookies, and she would need these by Sunday evening, the 13th, and 1 dessert (any kind), needed for the 14th.    Additionally, donations of three cases of water are needed for July 11th.    All help is appreciated!

The 16^th Annual Car Cruise will be held on Sunday, August 17^th 11:30 – 3:00pm with a rain date of August 24th. This is a great area to serve the church as well as fellowship with those who are a part of our community. It requires a great deal of planning and participation. We need help in the following areas: donations of cookies, pies, Chinese auction baskets; gathering of advertisers; workers for the welcome tent, parking and food. See a member of the Fellowship Team for questions. There will be sign up sheets on the bulletin board. 

Wednesday, August 6th from 6:30-8:30pm is the All Church Swim Night at Ewing Park Pool. We will have the pool all to ourselves for those two hours. Pizza, chips, cookies and drink will be provided. There will be NO COST. Please sign up on the bulletin board to help us prepare

Our congregation will have an all church picnic at Whitehall Camp on July 20th from 4:30-6:30pm at the pavilion on the upper grounds by the chapel. Chicken and drinks will be provided. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. There will be yard games. Dinner will be at 5:00pm so we can attend Camp meeting services at 7:00pm.

The Strawberry Festival will be Thursday, June 19th from 4:30 – 6:30pm.  We are asking for volunteers to bake pies, shortcakes, angel food cakes and to make macaroni salad and baked beans. Please sign-up on the bulletin board to donate needed items. This is a big endeavor as it’s open to the public. Please step up to help if you are able. The profits will benefit both the youth group and the mission team.    Please spread the word to the community and encourage them to attend!
